Default Seat cover question

A couple of months ago I purchased seat covers for my 2007 Corvette
What I didn't know was mine seats have side air bags and the seat covers don't have the opening necessary
for side airbags what to do?
cant send them back custom made has anybody else had this problem, What did you do?

Though you might find a skilled interior specialist who could create a relieved panel where the bags emerge, you would never know for sure if they would work. If you sold the car and did not disclose that issue...you could be in a world of hurt.

I hate to say it, but I think you should sell the covers for whatever you can get, and start over.

I have to agree with this. I bought custom covers, but they were made specifically to accommodate the side airbags. If you sell the car, do not tell the new owner that the side airbags won't deploy, and he/she gets in an accident where they should you'll be liable for any injuries received as a result. Not to mention if you get in an accident where they would deploy, but don't you could be seriously hurt yourself. Sell and start over.

I agree about being liable and would hate to see anyone get hurt.
I was thinking about selling them but of course telling the buyer that they're for seats without air bags
Or take them in to a specialist that deals with car interiors
