The Lost Corvette History Ch 10 tonight

The end product was a monstrosity and this guy who was the brains of the outfit has lost a lot of clout in the hobby because of this. If you watch closely, despite the best efforts of the editors, it is obvious that the VIPs are less than impressed during the big reveal.

No such thing as a missing link as 43 1983 Corvettes were built. The 1983 became the 1984 because of quality control and production issues. With that said I DVRed the program and will watch because it involves Corvettes. Not all shows involving Corvettes are a good thing... remembering Corvette Summer... Hahaha....
Corvette Summer is like "Citizen Kaine" or "TheGodfather" compared to the horrifying experiment portrayed in this program.

( again, '70's style ). their was no way he could have come up with a 'missing link' corvette. as has been mentioned previously, the 1984 is basically the 1983.

That was the waste of an hour of my life. Split window was bad! Analog gauges.......bad. Those WHEELS! BAD. The single cove.......bad. The whole thing had fitment issues. And looking at it, you can understand why Chevrolet added the black molding all around the car in 84. Hid those bad fitment lines. And on this thing, where they added the "split window" had the most severe noticeable fitment issue. Sorry, but this thing was a miss and made the builder look more of a fool in the eyes of Corvette enthusiasts than before.

the more I look at it, it reminds of a hot wheels car. ok detail for a toy but, in this case when scaled up to
a full sized car, those details are exposed. it also looks like it's 4-wheel drive too.

I felt embarrassed for the folks at the "reveal"... Hell, I was embarrassed myself for watching this tasteless demonstration.
