My daily driver Cobalt SS/SC does winter duty until it gets really nasty then my LQ4 swapped '93 K2500 comes out to play. Have a wooden base and a plastic 55 gallon barrel I put in the back and fill with water if it gets REALLY bad, rigged up that system winter of '16-'17 when we had snow and flooding like we haven't seen in the area (Southern Idaho) in a long time.
No need for a winter driver in Georgia but I do daily drive an F150. I lived in New York for 53 years and I would not drive any nice car in the winter with all the salt on the roads. The salt eats mufflers and gets all over the interior of the car.
Spouse drives a 2015 Yukon XL Denali and mine is a 2018 F150 King Ranch for on road. Off road, ice fishing and plowing is a 2016 Polaris Ranger 900 XP and a 2013 Sportsman X2. Just sold my two Polaris snowcats, 2000 and 2005 Classics and am looking for a newer Voyageur model to replace them for trail riding and utility work around the farm and hunting land.
