This won't help the op any, but this is one of the reasons I went with Kooks when I put headers on my 2010 coupe...No fitment or quality issues

Wondering if we're talking the same headers...Texas Speed headers are reported/known to hang low. TSP, I think, is a completely different outfit whose name sort of looks like a shortcut way of saying Texas Speed.
