My driver’s door Bose woofer seems to be failing and I am interested to know where I might buy a replacement Bose unit to limit modifications? The symptoms are intermittent base from that speaker and a bit of distortion.
This appears to be an AC Delco speaker and not a Bose. I’ll try to see if they have a Bose unit or perhaps find one in the for sale section of the forum.

It might say AC Delco, but I'm pretty sure that is the speaker they use in the Bose system. Keep in mind there are 2 different woofers for the Bose system depending on what model year your car is. The model number I supplied is for 2010-13 models. But like I said, you will need to confirm it.
Part # 15295310
The next question is do you gamble on a used one from eBay, or pay the ridiculous $250-ish for a new one, or put that $250 towards a whole new system?

When my speaker failed I called the local audio shops and found a brand new one. I think I paid $150?
I would call around and see if anyone has one. Good luck.
The other option is to try AES autoparts. They deal in used Corvette parts from all years. They have lot's of door speakers listed. https://aescorvetteparts.com/
Be cautious...there are 3 generations of the subwoofer for the oem Bose systems...I just replaced my '13 GS passenger door. Had to learn the hard way that '12 and '13 are unique. Although these sub's are all the same diameter... I was informed that 05' thru '07 are one style, '08 thru '11 are another style....be sure to verify correct model year replacement part # should you find a used one.
