I drive my car on weekends, only in nice weather. very seldom in fact honestly. Today, I am driving about a quarter mile from my house, and the car wigs out. Power steering and traction control warnings, and the car has no power and will barely run. 2010 Base model with 55,000 miles and manual tranny. I barely was able to make it back home. Has a hard time starting and will barely run. Sounds like **** when i give it gas. Ended up having to push it into the garage cuz it wouldnt start again. I know it has a bad fuel level sensor, but its had that for a few months with no other problems. Just have to keep an eye on my trip odometer for fuel level. Anyone here have any ideas? a friend suggested it may be the alternator, but that seems unlikely to me due to the low miles.
I'm with Dutch08 as far as it could be the battery or ground problem. Pull the battery cables off and clean them. Put a charger on the battery. These cars have all kinds of electrical gremlins with a weak battery. Do you have any idea how old the battery is?
I can only assume it's the factory battery, but it really sounded bad when I was trying to get it home. I'm taking it in to a local shop tomorrow, so hopefully I get some easy answers.

Unless tomorrow is the only day you have to take it in, I would first check both battery cables on both ends, and check for spark plug DC'd. These are known problem areas, and your shop might do a lot of unnecessary work before finding out it is something simple. Just a suggestion...
I had all those codes but when I pulled the fuel rail covers off the drivers side rear plug wire was off. Put it back on and all was well. Surprisingly frequent problem although the affected cylinder varies.
I just replaced a crankshaft position sensor because I had a weak battery. Believe me these cars act very weird when the battery is weak. My battery was 2 years old and under load it was at 8.2. Hard lesson learned.
