I have a pretty good size rock chip/indentation in one of my chrome factory wheels. I live close to Columbus Ohio. Has anyone ever re-chromed their factory wheels? Anyone have a great shop to use in Ohio,Indiana, or Kentucky? Thanks!
I used https://www.detroitwheelandtire.com/ for a set of PVD chrome wheels on the wifes Caddy. They have a good exchange program. According to their site they won't Re-Chrome a wheel though, apparently the stripping process messes up the rim too much?

Have you looked in to a wheel repair service. I know a lot of dealers use them in my area ( Tampa Bay) and they will also do private individual wheels. Re-chroming is expensive and not many shop left do to the environmental regulation. Must likely wheel repair or just buy a new factory wheel.

Are your wheels chrome, or are they clear-coated aluminum? If the latter, any wheel repair shop can do the job for you. If the former, you're better off finding a replacement.
