Default C6 trunk space

Hello,
I am contemplating my next car purchase. I have spent all my life with family cars. Now it is time to get a me car. I was considering getting a c6 era used corvette.
But I shoot archery and my every day bow case is 48”x17”x 10” tall. My airline case is 51”x22”x12” tall. They can be stood up on any side in the car.
will either or both of these fit in the back of the c6 corvette? I would be willing to move the passenger seat forward if necessary to get them to fit.

Thanks,
tim

I have a coupe, and no issues getting 2 sets of regular golf bag/ clubs in the back with room to spare.

the height of your items will not be any issue whatsoever.

I saw that post but thanks.
if you slide the passenger seat forward, do you get a little more space? I’ve seen some pictures that look like there is a short wall like edge at the front end of the trunk shelf but I’m not sure if I was looking at it correctly.
If i can get about 6” by sliding the seat forward, I think my bow case might fit.

My thought. Take a truck to the range or hunting. Buy the Vette. If in doubt, take your case to the dealer and give it a try. My bow case fits easily, but I have a soft base.

There is a short wall at the very front "behind the front seats" of the hatch area. You can fold the passenger seat forward, but I am not sure that I would want to drive with it like that. Your best bet might be to post your location and see if there is anyone locally that has a C6 so you could see it the case fits.

The C6 has an amazing amount of room for what looks like a small car. Maybe just take your stuff to a used car lot and see if it fits. Before I bought my C6, I rented one for the weekend. A little expensive in one way, but what turned out to be a $70,000 purchase. the rental cost for the weekend was really insignificant. Also, another bonus was that my wife really enjoyed the car also so I didn't get any static from her about buying the car.
.......................................

I rented from Hertz. They gave me almost no instructions on operating the car. They showed me how to press the start button. When I got home, I DIDN"T KNOW HOW TO TURN THE ENGINE OFF! I did concentrate on fussing with the start button, I finally accidentally turned the engine off and thereby learned how to turn it off.

If you are worried about space, a Corvette isn't for you, it's not your family car!!!!!!!

Just go take a look at some C6 Corvette for sale and bring those cases with you and see if they will fit.

I find the C6 cargo area has a huge amount of space. That being said it isn't a truck or minivan.

A Corvette is generally for someone with a “normal” vehicle (or several) for daily driving, and the toy is for weekends and vacations. Sure, plenty of people daily drive Corvettes, but there are compromises to make. Compromising practicality so you can finally fulfill a childhood dream should not be on that list. Rent one for a weekend and see if you can live with it. Just my opinion.
