My 08 coupe eats batteries. I just installed #5 after 58,000mi. nothing needed re-adjustment, but now the clock doe not show. This is the first time this has happened.
What can I do?
Look up forum member "radaga" I sent him a clock fix disc and he will send it to you if you ask, Send him a private message with your address and you will have a clock in a few days.

So in about 12 years you have gone through 4 batteries since you just installed #5. That is 3 years per battery on a car that is not driven much. That is typical nowadays and not considered "overeating."
Had the same issue with my 2006 after battery died. Found the fix on line and had someone burn a disc for me. Put the disc in and now I have a clock. Easy fix only takes a couple minutes.
BF Alexander, I have sent the disk off to member bsteadman contact him if you are still looking for one. This is the disk I received from jjfabs referenced in the above post. Worked great the first time so I know the disk is good. The one thing both myself and jjfabs request is you offer the disk up for others when you are finished.
Good luck with the battery issue. One thing to note, I am in the golf business and have over 300 golf carts (300 x 6 per cart = a lot of batteries and a lot of $) if you do not drive the car a lot make sure you have a tender on it and one that will recycle once it has a full charge or make sure you unplug and replug at least once a month to make sure the battery stays fully charged.
