C6 Clock/Nav fix...
Appears there is a video for a DIY fix I just saw on Facebook from "Thecorvettemechanic" to finally get our clocks back.

I burned a CD-R, and it installed properly! I now have the clock back with the correct time, and all other nav functions work.
I wanted to add, the file you downloaded is a compressed Zip file, that has to be unzipped, or uncompressed first, before you burn the CD.

It Works
I tried a DVD-R first and it does not work., then used a CR-RW. Dragged and dropped file, burned/finished the CD..
when you first put it into the DVD/Map slot it says not a map disk...
wait 20 seconds andit pops this screen up
this screen pops up, takes 2 or so min to do its thing, corvette logo shows as its reboots.
then ejected disk and checked and no clock.....then went to put maps in and then the clock popped back up working before I got the map disk In.

No you down load the zip file.
then right click and extract the file. it will be one file. named "LOADING.KWI"
drag that one file onto a blank CD-R/CD-RW, and drop it there, click manage and then burn to finish.
when done follow instructions start car out side and put disk in.

The fix worked, I now have a clock with correct date as well as what seems to be a better functioning GPS with no GPS and a line thru it for some time.
Thanks to all for the update and help getting this fixed for us.
Anyone waiting to see if it is the real deal, it is, get those clocks fixed!!

Great Find for the fix. Although I never disconnected my battery and didn't lose the clock, no worries now
