Hey guys,
looking to get a vanity plate on my c6 corvette. I narrowed it down to two choices, and I'm having a difficult time deciding between them:
YUR SLOW
2 AWESUM
Any other suggestions are kindly appreciated but would like your insight between these two options mainly.
Welcome. Let it sit for a week. It'll come to you. I found that asking other people for plate input is a lost cause. You may want to consider what sort of reaction those plates may elicit in others and whether you want to deal with that. There are threads in CF will literally hundreds of plate ideas.
Not of fan of bragging vanity plates. Saw an Audi A6 with plate "12SECQTR". After my wife would not let him get away with it and gave me permission, he may have second guessed about bragging.

The first criticizes other people, the second cheers for you. I'm with the second.
Whatever you do don’t get any combination of the color of your car, model year & Corvette, C6, etc.
ex: BLKVETT, REDC6, 2010Z06. I also wouldn’t put anything as reference to the car being fast or faster than others bc someone is always faster & eggs others on to want to race, but that’s just me.
I try to be somewhat creative. On my Hugger Orange Camaro SS I had CRUSSH. My Inferno Orange GS has INFRNO after HELFIRE was rejected for being offensive
My wife’s Jeep has JABCAT which is the first initial of my, her’s & our kids’ names in chronological order. So many people think her Jeep is a JABCAT special edition & ask her about it all the time.
You can google C6 Vanity Plates and get hundreds of ideas, as CrystalRed mentioned. In some states, you can go onto the DMV site and submit your plate ideas to see if they are already taken.

Same reason I’ve stayed away from a plate like that, now the odds of someone running up on me randomly on the highway and not getting gapped by bus lengths is very very....very slim. It’s also much easier for someone to get and remember your tag...and if your gonna use some **** like UR SLOW....if you aren’t making 700+whp just forget about it. If this vette is bone stock or simple bolt ons the accurate tag would be “IM SLOW” it’s America...free to do whatever you damn well please, but a cocky tag like that will have lots of people saying “prove it” so keep that in mind.
I know if I ran up on a vette or any car on the highway with a similar plate...I’d have the most massive Cheshire Cat grin and definitely request you prove that tag. I’d probably bait them into it and right before the run is set up I’d let them hear the BOV open up...so they know it’s about to get real ugly but it’s too late to back out 🤣 one gear and a massive fire ball later...lesson learned
Ultimately it’s your car man, do what makes you smile 👍🏻🤘🏻🇺🇸 All that really matters at the end of the day.
