Sounds like you've joined the automatic transmission shifter lock out club. Simple solution is to replace the shfter. There should be several long threads on how to (1) demolish the locking latch in the shifter so it'll never happen again, or (2) attach a pull wire to the latch, drill a hole in the inside of the front of the center console storage area, and position the end of the pull wire there.
Hope you can do it yourself.....it is NOT a cheap fix at a dealer.....My 2008 wouldn't shift INTO park or reverse. Only would go into drive or neutral when mine gave up the ghost last November at 19,000 miles. Rather than mess it up myself, I just let the dealer fix it. First and only time the old girl left me down since I took delivery at NCM.
