i have a quick question I wanted to pick y’all’s Brian for. I have a 2009 Z06 with roughly 75k miles. It’s still a Relatively new car to me that drives great but I noticed in between drive, the engine appears to hesitate during start up. If the car has been sitting and I go to fire it up to fires up no problem, but if I run to the store and go to start it again, it hesitates like the battery is weak, before roaring alive. If has started every single time but s you can imagine it is a lil concerning. What do you guys think my issue could be? THANKS

It would be a good idea to check the connections at the starter to assure nothing is loose or broken. The solenoid material of the starter gets weak and can break off at the connector, thus making a loose connection.
As stated above, any weakeness in the battery will cause this as well. These cars are hard on batteries, especially if they are let to draw down just sitting.
The electronics will degrade the effectiveness of the battety power if the car sits for 2 weeks or more without being on a battery maintainer.
Normal drain from the C6 electronics is a continuous 0.018 -.020 amps, not including any aftermarket accessories connected.
This seems to come up a lot. Do you have headers on your car? It could be a heat soaked starter. When the car and starter cool off, then the car starts normally.
Appreciate all the feed back guys! There is no tender on my battery when it sits which is why I’m leaning away from it being a battery issue, but I’m open to all these suggestions

you sir may be a genius! the car is stock but after looking into a heat soaked starter and how the heat ***** with the solenoids that sounds exactly like my issue
