Antivenom Mod?
What do you guys think of the Anti venom modification ? I love the car but sometimes shifting is a little notchy. I did install a MGW shifter about 4 years ago and its awesome!
Please advise.

Thanks for asking this question. I put the MGW shifter in a month or so ago and wouldn't mind trying this mod, so more feedback the better...

If weather is good I'm going to try it this week. Just one washer.

Thanks! I put it in my wishlist for my next order. I won't get to this until probably April so I have some time. Appreciate the info!

Is this mod applicable to the stock shifter as well, or only appropriate for after switching to an aftermarket shifter?

I believe most will do this mod after installing an aftermarket short throw shifter due to the “notchy”feel of the new shifter. Then you have the best of both worlds—- short and sweet!

I just installed one washer. It took maybe a total of 5 minutes. I didn't have an extension for the 1/2 " drive so I had to buy one. No biggie. Took it for a ride and felt a lot better. I'll drive it around some and see if I want to add the other one.

Yesterday I did the Ranger method for the clutch fluid. It wasn't too bad. The car is an 07 with 16K miles on it. I'm the third owner. Bought it with 5500 miles. Had it for 5 years. Awesome car and love it everyday! Between doing the Anti Venom Mod and the Ranger Method, the car feels a little better. Thats all. Have a great day Guys and Gals.
