C6 Power Steering Problem
Looking for a rack and pinion for my 2010 GRAND SPORT coupe . GM is out of stock and has no projection when this part will be available. I have already been waiting over three months any help will be much appreciated

For some reason GM never really had stock of C6 steering racks for Grand Sports or other late model C6's. My 2013 came brand new from the factory with a bad rack. When I bought it in the dealer told me I would be getting a rebuilt rack as GM has no new racks other than the ones they use to build the cars. It has been discussed here on the forum in the past.

From what I understand, the dealer shouldn't have a problem getting a rack, because new ones from the factory/ supplier aren't made anymore. Every steering component, power steering pump, etc. is rebuilt. I had my power steering pump replaced about 7 month ago at a Chevy dealer, and it was remanufactured.

Stay far away from Speedy, horrible quality. If you want to go get a rack on the island the place to go would be Biltron.
