This morning I got in the car and it made the dreadful clicking noise. But it started up and everything but the gage lights turned on. I knew if I turned it off it might not turn back on...and it didn’t.
now I’m locked out too! Trunk won’t open when I insert key and turn.
on top of that, for some reason my head unit is on and stuck on reverse camera and my interior lights wouldn’t turn off.
So i just had a mechanic here, he messed around with the relay switches (ie took the starter, drivetrain and startup and wiped them down) and removed the terminal to the battery (it's a little loose, but not bad). And voila, the lights returned and the car was able to start.

I have no idea why tho...
"a little loose" is not good.
Battery connections need to be tight.
C6 Vettes sometimes have bad ground connections.
The negative battery terminal connector can be tricky.
Whoever did your audio may have disconnected negative battery cable and not reinstalled properly.

This was my thought too. I'm no mechanic and many forum members have more experience than I do, but it definitely sounded like a battery issue - especially after the loose connection was mentioned.

Mine too..the only hesitation I had to that theory was the head unit was stuck on with the rear view camera ( wouldn’t turn off) and the interior lights wouldn’t turn off either..
After taking out the fuse and then removing terminal to reset after a few seconds I replaced it and everything reset inside the cab.
I thought that was the backup to get into the car if the battery was dead?
No idea. Seems like an unfortunate separate issue. It’s the valet key that I’ve used before to program other fobs. I don’t know it it’s a faulty lock but I will take to dealership soon if I can’t find the answer on the forums.
I think it's just an unfortunate coincidence I found this issue when my power died on the car.
Ah - okay - wasn't sure what the connection was there, but it did make me worry a bit! The only way in the car once you have a dead battery is to open the hatch and pull the door release. If that hatch lock could fail from some non-mechanical part, that would bother me.
