Not positive , but I thought I read somewhere on this site that there was a way to get to the pull handle for the door by taking out one of the rear tail lights, as far as that locksmith I would find someone else.

. You May have read that but no, you cannot reach the handle by removing a light.

no you can’t reach the pull just by removing the light. You have to do this.

If the battery is disconnected, putting power to the starter or taillight wiring or anything is useless. I tried it all. Nothing worked. Either go to dealer and get a new key, or drill a small hole behind taillight. Then put black silicone to cover up hole.
