I just bought a 2012 grand sport with pfadt headers with catted x pipe and intake. The dealer loooked at the car for a pre purchase inspection and codes came up about the 02 sensor, but I think the engine light wasn’t on when I bought the car after pre purchase inspection. 4 hours into driving it home, engine light comes on. Head to auto zone and the 02 sensor and other info comes back on related to the headers I’m thinking, car has 46k on it and in amazing shape. Love this car and want to take good care of it.

Adjustments need to be made in the tune with HPTuners for the rear 02 sensors and you do not need to remove the cats. The rear 02 sensors will not be reading the correct numbers that they need to see due to the cats not being in their original position.Check with your local tuner to make adjustments in your tune for this issue to go away

To the OP ..... This is the correct info above
You need to take the car to someone (a tuner) that has the HPTuners software and have him delete the rear O2 sensor codes so you won't get a check engine light.
But, it won't hurt a thing driving the car until you get this done. Most people that install headers don't even re-install the rear (after cat) O2 sensors ... they are not needed, but you still need a tuner to make that check engine light go out, and stay out.
