Jacking Pads

The cheep rubber lifting pads I ordered came in today. Now that I got them I'm wondering if they are strong enough to use without collapsing.
Has anyone used rubber jacking pads? There are aluminum ones available but I was to cheep to get them. Now I am wondering if I should get them.

I use used hockey pucks. 4.00 for 4 from flee bay.

I've used these for years with no problems. They are cheap and if you know the kid down the street that plays hockey for a school team, he'll probably give you a few for free.

I'm using them on my '12 GS and my son's '01. Best of all they are there all the time. Only way they can collapse is if you are using a bottle jack to jack up your car.
