Stereo questions
I have 2 questions. The stereo (it's the infotainment center with the Navigation in it) in my '11 has a static type background sound when the radio is playing. I don't usually notice it since the roof is usually out and the volume is up, but went somewhere the other day with the roof in and the windows up and it was very noticeable. I changed the EQ settings and it mostly went away. Anyone else have this? My 2nd question, when I have my phone plugged in, is it possible to skip songs from the radio or the steering wheel? My DD is a Nissan Titan and when the aux source is chosen, the song playing is displayed on the radio and I can skip around using the steering wheel controls. Thanks,

Bite the bullet dude and upgrade your head unit - you'll be glad you did. I put it off for half a year but just did it and am kicking myself for not doing it sooner.

I’ve owned a C4, a C5, a C7, and now a C6. The C6 head unit with navigation is the worst I’ve ever encountered in *any* car I’ve owned. It’s terrible!
