Debating whether to paint the headlights black or leave them as is. Not sure 100% on what degree of black I want to go either. A dark gray black, flat black, gloss black...etc. I'll have to research that a little further.

Never realized how big the headlights were on the car.

Decided to get the brakes off today. The calipers are held by 2x15mm bolts. You need to use a 15mm socket and an 18mm wrench to take the caliper off. Once the caliper is off, pop out the brake pads. The caliper bracket is held by 2x21mm bolts. Remove them and the caliper bracket slides out. The brake rotor may be held by small clips that need to be removed from each lug-bolt. Once those are removed, slide the rotor off. The rears are a little more difficult to slide off than the front. My driver-side rotor wasn't coming off easily, so I used a rubber hammer to help push it out.

Going to have to re-paint the calipers and change the rotors...just for that stainless steel look. Whoever painted them before didn't pay that much attention to detail.

On the blue I would think a graphite color for the head lights might look better than black, but also the blue is nice, not sure if would be a big improvement.

Watching the jack video is consider alternatives, I lack that amount if patents.

Seems like those calipers might clean up, looks like just dirt on them in the pictures.

That's what I was thinking as well. I've seen the Silver with the pure black and it seems like it just doesn't fit well. The graphite color would fit much better considering the headlight lays flat with the fender and the hood.

lol. When you have a lowered car there's really not much alternative to it. I bought an "ultra-low-profile jack" and still can't fit underneath when you add the hockey pucks. Maybe make a smaller puck? Not sure.

I hope you're right. At first glance it looks like it needs some work.

Once the bumper cover and the headlights were out, I saw just how dirty everything was. It's time to remove the fenders. Once the fenders are off, I can properly clean everything underneath them. Here's how to remove fenders from a 2005-2013 C6 Corvette.

Tools that you'll need:
1. 9/32 socket
2. 10mm socket
3. Flathead screwdriver
4. Torx T15 screwdriver

Remove all of the T15 Torx screws from the top of the fender. Once the screws are out, remove the rubber/plastic piece that's separating the fender from the windshield: there's another T15 Torx screw underneath there too. Remove the 6 clips and the two 10mm bolts underneath the car that are holding the wheel well liner. With the wheel well liner removed, you'll have a good look at the 9/32 bolt that's inside of the fender (towards the firewall). This needs to be removed. There are another two 9/32 bolts underneath the car holding the fender in place. Finally, there's one 10mm bolt towards the front of the car, underneath the headlight area that's holding the fender bracket in place. Remove it and the bracket comes off too.

A few photos of the front-end body panels totally removed. Today I'm going to be working on the rear bumper-cover. Anyone have any tips on removing the manual-trunk release cable?

Don't worry, the 22's are not going on the Corvette. I bought that set of wheels/tires because I wanted to bag my GMC Sonoma and place some 22s on it. I got another set of wheels/tires for the Sonoma now, so the 22s are just my Garage decoration now.

And just in case you were wondering, these are the wheels that are on my Sonoma now.
