Replace climate control button?
So, I'm an ANALyst and this bugs me. Yeah, I need therapy.
Where can I find a new fan button?
And is it simple enough to replace?
For my 96, I was able to take it apart and clean all the contacts when the buttons were intermittently working. I am thinking that this is close to the same, no?
Thanks for any help/advice.

I see the entire unit come up for sale from time to time for about a hundred dollars, just replace the entire control unit.

I just had mine out last weekend & it didn’t appear that the buttons were easily removed unfortunately.

I'll keep watch. The only one listed right now in the FS section is $250.

After some research looks like I may have to go the decal route.

A before and after photo would be appreciated when and if you do that. I've got a button that is going to look like yours soon enough.

Sure thing. If I do I will also do more research on which decal set to go with and mention it.
This thread from two years ago which does have pictures is where I got the information from.

Yes, it is. Darn shame it has that very noticeable scratch.
Yeah, I'm picky.
