We now know your password, first name, 1st letter of last name, where you live. Its in your public profile.
It wont be too hard for someone to figure out where you work and your user name for your work account.
Do yourself a favor and change your password ASAP before your company gets hacked and you lose your job.

There is enough here that someone malicious could do something, thankfully I think most of its on this forum would never do something malicious .
LOVE THIS FORUM. Great stalking !
I knew I'd get some replies, and maybe some abuse. . its all good, cause I'm bored with all this COVID.
This new password is only one of three levels of security . . . . first you need a permanent user ID #, then another ID# that changes daily, and then this password just accesses my personal work documents, which are not confidential.
They just changed that password from minimum 8 to 20 characters . . . . I think I'm still good.

I need to clean up my online presence too, make myself less findable. I just found out that with the license plate you can get the Vin from which you can grab service records, allowing someone to find what service location I go to... And find the owners name.

Anyone you pass on the road would have access to your license plate number so I wouldn't worry about it too much.
Your password should include special character, your work should require special characters in addition to Capitals and Numbers.
Actuality why are they still using just user name and password, should they be on two factor with a PIV card or something?

We change our personal passwords every 4 weeks. I was just playing around with a Corvette theme
I'm no expert, but our 8 character password required a special character. But now the new one, minimum 20 and maximum 45, should be a FULL SENTENCE with spaces. Apparently this is now considered more secure.
So a new password could be " Mary had a little lamb " or " I love my 2009 yellow Corvette ", etc.
I'm not too worried about my online presence . . . . I don't do much besides this forum but my wife and kids are far more risk than I will ever be.

And if I see your car in a parking lot and photo your VIN, I can find more about you and your car than you will believe. There is very little that you still have absolute control over your personal information anymore.

Now that you have posted the password out in the open your IT dept, should be contacting you soon to change it.
As far as stalking, don't flatter yourself. As an IT professional, I was just trying to be helpful.
Have you ever said to a group of people "Hey, watch this!" ?
Good luck with your job.

People like this don't get it. Don't sweat it too much. What he doesn't know is that if a properly motivated individual wanted to take advantage of this info his company would be easily hacked. There is no such thing as a secure system as long as it's connected to the Internet, and he's provided the "in" any good hacker would need.
Whew!! Tough crowd. Did anyone besides me just think, “this guy really does just like Corvettes, and he’s excited about owning one”? Listen, I don’t think he is on here bragging because he owns a 7 year old Chevy.
Do you think his IT dept reads this forum, and his posts?
No. Bots will find it. It will the enter a data base of known passwords. Once that happens his IT group will be notified that his password is public knowledge and they will notify him to change it at the least.
Thats if they know what they are doing.
Then again if he’s always talking up his Vette at work a real stalker coworker he pissed off may see this thread.
My work changed their password requirement from minimum 8 characters to 20, with both upper and lower case letters.
I went with: 2013CorvetteGrandSport
I should not forget that one.
Pretty sure they didn't change your password to 20 characters, but gave you an option to use a Passphrase. To access tools on our company network like your timesheet, we have the option of using a password which has to be changed every 90 days, or you can use a passphrase, which is typically two unrelated words with a symbol between the two and a minimum of 12 characters. It doesn't have to be changed for a much longer period than 90 days You click your choice when you are changing your password. A passphrase is easier to remember, but harder to hack because you are using more than 8 characters. You wouldn't use corvettegrandsport, because the words are related. Very, very poor choice. Very, very insecure.
If you really did this, I hope your company finds out and disciplines you.
