Default Wheel questions.

I bought a set of z06 wheels and tires for my 2012 GS. Tire sizes are the same on both sets. Will I be able to bolt these straight on the car? Will I need to have the tire pressure sensors set to the need wheels?

Not only do the GS have the same size wheels as the Z06, but the offset is the same too ... they will bolt right up

As far as TPMS sensors, there was a change in the freq. they work at sometime in 2009 ... If the Z06 wheels are from an early Z06, they might not work (wrong freq). If they are from a later model year Z06, they will work.

You will still need to have them electronically matched to your GS to get them to work. Either buy a TPMS reset tool (eBay for about $9) or pay someone like Firestone to reset the TPMS sensors to your car.

Thanks, that’s what I was hoping. Came off of a 2013 Z06 said put new sensors in the wheels.

Your good to go ... and the wheels will be in the same position in your wheel wells as the OEM wheels you now have on the car.

Just need to get the TPMS sensors mated to your GS.

Just for your info ... The offset for the GS / Z06 front wheels is +40mm

For the rear, it's +59mm
