Engine won't shut down when STOP is pushed.
At 18,000 miles the ABS system failed massively. The EBCM PLUG had a hole completely burned through the plug, receptacle, and circuit board of the EBCM. I had to splice a new plug onto the engine control harness (26 wires), and replace the entire ABS PUMP/VALVE ASSEMBLY AND EBCM from a salvaged car.
I've had to replace the windshield wiper motor, and the driver's door lock also. I've also had trouble with the DUAL MODE EXHAUST SOLENOID sticking on LOUD MODE.
The fuel pump line from the left fuel tank sprays fuel all over the top of the tank and it runs down the sides and collects in the pan holding the tank. The car REEKS OF FUEL if I fill the tank over about half full.
The ABS Failure in 2015 caused the car to spin around, out of control. Thankfully the resulting crash didn't kill or injure me. THIS CAR HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE with multiple electrical problems since it was new. The dealer replaced #4 cylinder ignition coil during the warranty. That is the only time the car was repaired under warranty.
What could cause the car's engine to continue running when it is turned OFF, and drain the battery?

Ordered a new stop/start button. While it was in transit from Rock Auto the problem cured itself.
The new switch arrived and I threw it in anyway, my original was cracked.
Functioned fine for a few months, now bang, back to opening bloody door.
