I have a 2007 LT3 Z51 Corvette with a single CD player with Nav. unit, the problem I have is I can't skip or advance tracks, I've tried a few CDs, no joy. These are not "burned cd's", originals.
Sounds to me like it's time to find a used replacement OEM radio, or look into an aftermarket head unit. If you go OEM, remember that you'll have to have the new radio programmed with your car's VIN before it will work.
Thanks, I'll pick one up, if they still make them. I' m also looking at replacing the whole thing with a Kenwood DMX4707S unit, basically it's just a screen and operates through your phone, I've already replaced the Nav/Radio unit three times over the years.

What went wrong with them ? I still have the OE unit in my 13, and while I would love to upgrade it to a newer unit I can't justify the cost with it still working.

The original one had a problem with the Nav screen getting stuck open when changing CDs, had it replace in kind with a rebuilt unit, it failed after a couple of weeks, the third unit, in the car now is giving me trouble playing CDs. Since it's a 2007, no bluetooth or up to date options, so I'm looking to change and put sometihing that connects to my phone. If it wasn't giving me problems I'd keep it and save the money but I like listening to my tunes when driving.
