I was lucky. Home Depot had the BL-5000SLX 110 volt on sale one day only for $998.00 shipped. It was on Sunday November 29th for 24 hours. Two days after Black Friday. It sold out Monday morning and is still sold out. If you wait it will go on sale again. Save your beer money 💵
Well boys I ordered it. $1266! Probably the highest price paid for one around here, but Hey they said they'd give me a T-shirt.........and a sticker.......
I'm BaaAck........Ok, so making time and watching all the YouTube vids, I tackle the assembly process......These guys in their clean polo shirts make it look like a cake walk..........You can sure tell the Chinese packaging...........No neat little clear plastic tray with all the fitting......most fittings in Chinese cardboard.
Ok, ok, now for the good part......Schrader valves (air valve stems) just tossed loosely into the rail boxes Which were pretty torn up hence evidently one of the valves is probably rolling around the back of a Fedx truck somewhere in Mississippi..........Home Depot carries Schrader valves, so I buy (2) just in case. Anyway BOTH of the air system cylinders lose air....and No the leaks are not from the Schrader valves. I've sprayed a lot of soapy water all over those valve and watched them tell my eyes hurt. The leaks are pretty slow so it's hard to tell where the leaks are.
QJ Tech Support told me they've been having an "issue" with their cylinders and would send me (2) replacements.
That's where I'm at........Happy? No, but it could be worse........and I do have beer.

I found my set to fairly easy to assemble. About 90 minutes. All of the quick connector and parts came in zip lock type bags not a tray. I also noticed they supplied and extra set of Schrader valves and wheels. One of the female quick couplers leaked a little. I emailed tech support. They called back the next day, Then they shipped a brand new coupler the next day. I installed it and now have no leaks. Yes the video makes it look easy and quick to assemble. The first few times I used them they did not go up or down equaly. They do have a self bleeding system. So after up and down with the weight of the car on them they worked very well. Sucks you had issues. Maybe I'll join you and have a beer or two.
Check these out. The pickup was just a test. I did see light under the inner QJ rails, I'm not sure if it's the concrete floor or if the rails are binding. I'm not Exactly sure how much that single cab, short bed, 2wd weighs but yeah I won't get underneath it until I'm sure, have better lifting blocks and secondary backup safety devices (jack stands or blocks under tires) in place. And yeah, those scary Wood block are screwed together.
Update: Online says my trucks curb weight is ~4200 lbs, the GVWR is 6100 lbs.

Ok, Let's talk about my views on the QJ 5000.
In the QJ video above, in the intro the presenter is standing by a bunch of machinery. Maybe that machinery is used for development because 5 buxs says my QJ is made in China.
The packaging was Horrible. No neat little box with all the pieces neatly packaged. The Schrader valve was loose in the packaging. One was missing, must have fallen out of one of the huge holes in the Chinese cardboard shipping box. Their Schrader valves are garbage anyway, I got better ones at Home Depot.
The rubber lifting blocks are not that great either. Actually decent cut wood blocks might be better, steal blocks with rubber pads would be best.
Also setting the QJ up and then putting it away is kind of a hassle. Yes, on my Vette it's almost a must, but on the truck or Honda 75% of the time I don't need it.
Also, the QJ compressor/jumper box bonus is garbage unless you're a Coach and need something to air up *****.
SAFETY! You HAVE to follow the steps and procedures setting the QJ up, lifting and lowering a vehicle Every time you use it! Follow the maintenance checks and schedule. This thing takes a little better care than those floor jacks and stands you beat around.
Secondary Safety measures are also an Excellent idea, jack stands, or even better blocks under tires. Safety First/Safety Always!
QJ customer service is pretty good but the big shots should have better quality control so the people at their call center wouldn't have to listen to people like me bitch!
Sure it would be nice to have a big garage and a FOUR post lift, but if you don't have that and you have a low to the ground vehicle the QJ is nice to have in your tool box....

I have the 5000
04Z (lowered), '14 Abarth
They are stored under the Vette in the center. It slightly scrapes the front air dam when driving over it. I don't mind, it's built to deflect.
I leave the hydraulic hoses connected, pump is on the floor in front of the Vette. I do unplug it except when in use.
I don't mind rolling around on the ground a bit and I don't like the idea of standing them up, they are pretty heavy and if they fall it'll hurt.
Had it this way for 2yrs now, wouldn't have it any other way.
good luck!
Sorry for posting to a 2 year old thread, i am looking at buying QuickJack for my 2012 GS (and possibly the kids 2014 Corolla, 2010 Civic). Will the 5000TL work on the 2012 GS or will it need the 5000SLX ?
Thx

The 5000TL works fine on a C6. I've used one on my base and my z06.
Thanks, i was a bit concerned reading some posts about needing steel plates and different configurations, angles,...etc.
So it simply works using jack pucks only ?
I have the BL-7000SLX. I figured this would be the most versatile since we also have an SUV. The 7000 is pretty heavy but I don't have to move it far. I keep the QJ stored against the garage wall.
The BL-7000SLX is too high to store under the C6. I also have to drive the front wheels onto some boards when using the Quick Jack depending on what wheel/tires are on the car.
