Every time I get out of my vette the driver's side window goes up and down about an inch for 4-5 times. I have to start the car to get it to stop. Why is this happening and how can I fix it.
With the engine running and the window down, close the car door. Raise the window and hold the up switch an extra 3 seconds. Release. Without lowering the window, hold the up switch again for 3 seconds. Release. Done. Don't forget the other window.
This will need to be done to both windows every time the car battery is disconnected, then reconnected, or when a new battery is installed in the car.
Two things to try. 1st. Re-index the window as follows.
1. Close the doors.
2. Raise the window and hold the switch up for three seconds after the window is closed.
3. Release the switch, then hold the switch up again for three seconds and release.
or disconnect the battery and then re-index the windows.
