Shifter Boot
Hey all,
Well I just got the new shifter **** and I installed it. Took 10 minutes. Shout out to Corvettemods for fast delivery.
Is there any way to keep the boot up all the way to the top?

Congrats on actually getting what you paid for without getting screwed by Corvettemods. You should go and buy a lottery ticket today.
I used the factory ring at the top of the boot to keep my boot up.

I already played!
I don't have the silver ring. It stays up just not all the way to the tippy top. I'll figure something out. Thanks Ed.

Seems like the 05-07 used a rubber O ring on the shifter ball flange that the hole in leather slid over where the plastic chrome ring boots had tab that twisted and locked onto the flange...Hopefully you got the correct ball for your boot..
good luck

Maybe a zip tie will work.

Maybe a rubber band like we used as kids when the elastic was gone from your socks.
