Lived 2hrs north of NYC. Car would hibernate as soon as the first sand/salt hit the road. Sometimes mid - late November. Wouldn’t come out again until Spring rains washed away the Winter!
Not a problem now down in sunny Port St Lucie!
I feel your pain. I live just NW of Atlanta where I can drive my 06 M6 year round. I had it modded last January and had to have rotator cuff surgery in February. My car sat for six weeks!
so maybe your Fastball will be better after surgery.......good luck with that ....feel better
Live in NY Long Island. I drive mine all year as long as no snow. Took it out yesterday for a nice 100 mile drive. New head unit and new shifter ball. Felt like a different car for a while.
Remember life is very short! Get in your car and drive it!!!
If this means what I think it means, x2, nice jab at us northern folk, actually wish you well and I'll be sending you pics of my car parked along lake Michigan in july

Have the ice flows all disappeared by July?
Just some good natured kidding!

I remember taking the same jabs at the friends I grew up with in Georgia when I lived outside of Chicago - except they were like the jab @Wheels55 took at you. Yes - the ice is gone by July. The Michigan side of Lake Michigan is much nicer than the Illinois side!

10-4! Believe me, come the “jungle heat” of July and August, not to mention the hurricane threats, I’d welcome the cooling breezes off of the lake!
yep! when y'all are having some beautiful weather up north, i'll be down here burning myself on everything thats inside my car.... oh yeah, and mowing my yard on a weekly basis in 90+ heat 76+% humidity
It was nice enough to get out for a cruise today but the roads are covered with SALT!!! so it was a no go. Here I am in virtual corvette land again.........
Winter makes you love your car even more when spring hits & you press the start button for the 1st time
Time, time , time, It gets longer the older I get. Have a bunch of jobs to do on my (New to me) 2007 Convertible, and just seeing the different boxes laying around make me more depressed. I've only got about 15 years left, I'm thinking about up anchor and looking for a warmer home down south soon ! I'm tired of this !
It snow's a little here. So I drive my Dodge 6.7L Reno/Sparks Here's a pic out my drive way. Yes winter sucks Won't be out until April or May. Doing maintenance for now
San Antonio, Texas. Glaze ice this morning and 30 degrees F. Supposed to be 10 degrees or less by tomorrow morning. My 2013 Grand Sport is very dirty and under a car port where it will stay until 33 degrees shows up which will be Wednesday morning. Then possibly back into the teens again for next weekend. Seems like I was going to ask a question about cold weather but as long as the car stays put it should be okay. I'm certainly not going to drive in the ice as I don't know how and have little confidence that anyone else down here does either. Hope those truckers keep 'em rolling!
