Steering Column Noise?
My 12 GS steering column makes a squealing noise when extending. (33,000 miles)
Any ideas what is causing this?
I'm thinking it needs greased somewhere inside.
Again, this only happens when I get into the car & start, then the column goes to the memory position
I doesn't make the sound after turning off the car & it goes back to forward position.

Theres rubber rubbing somewhere in the column. Wd-40 sprayed in places (sprayed not saturated)where rubbing is apparent will either eliminate this or at least point you in the right direction.
