Default Steering wheel movement

I have a 2013 Grand Sport. Electric Telescopic Steering wheel is moving in and out about a 1/4”. It’s solid side to side. I took a video under dash to show movement. No movement back by connecting bolt. Any suggestions for fixing this? It is a recent issue that I noticed when inadvertently pulling back on wheel to turn around to see where I am backing into a parking space. Appreciate the help

I think I may see the problem. The latter part of the video you see the motorized screw that extends & retracts the steering column. The bolt just in front of the screw (you can see the tip) appears to have some slack in it and maybe just tightening the bolt (s) will remove the play.

Good luck & let us know the fix.

Default Tightening bolt fixed it

Thanks GD. That black screw was loose and after tightening the movement stopped. Couldn’t see that screw until I got my head under the dash fully. It is very tight getting to that torx screw and there is allot grease in there so it could loosen again. If it does I am going to remove and put some loctite on it before tightening it up. Thanks again.
