Default Transparent Targa roof

Hi, I am wondering if anyone has a comment good or bad on the Transparent roof from Corvette Mods. Fit? Finish? How much sunlight do they let in?....Too much? Thanks.

Lots of problems with CorvetteMods. I would stay away, and most likely they don't even have the complete top even if it's listed on their website. The forum has a "transaction feedback" section of the forum. If you do a search you will find many forum members warning against buying anything from CorvetteMods.

Here is the "Transaction Feedback" section, of course the first thread at the time of this post is someone having an issue with Corvette mods.

I'm not sure how much different theirs is than the factory clear top. I can speak for the factory one though.

I rarely ever use it! To be fair, I live in sunny South Florida. Here in South Florida with the The inside of the car just gets WAY to hot and even when driving in the summer with the AC blasting, you can feel the heat coming through beating on your head. If I where to do things all over again, I would have never purchased it. BUT I have mine now and just hanging on to it as a bonus selling point should I ever sell the car.

I have thought about having a UV reflective tint on it... that may help a bit.

SPEED SAFE, NICK

Best bet is to pick one up used but in great shape. Check the forum C6 for/sale section and/or your local Craigslist. Nice ones do come up for sale every so often.

And the top is heavily tinted, not exactly transparent.

Agree with used. I looked for almost a year before finding a local seller for $400.00. I kept checking craigslist but ended up buying one from someone on the forum who PM'd me based on another thread.
