I have a 2005 base with all the option available at the time, 72k on the clock. They came back at just under 20k, Three weeks ago I tried
again and they came back at just under 15k . I'm not selling so it isn't much of a concern but this might be an indication that prices are settling down.
Carvana trade prices are also based on their inventory in that area. If they're desperate for sports cars in a market, they offer more. If they've got a lot in stock, they offer less.

Same with trucks. I played with Carvana and CarMax with my F-150. Carvana about $30k, Carmax $34k. Then $28k each respectively 4-8 weeks later. Haven't tried in a few weeks. Not selling either at this point but fun to play with.

A little off my original topic, but how do you like your '05? Seems to be the year that most recommend staying away from, but I have seen a few deals out there.

I bought mine 3 years ago and I love the car. I have had the harmonic balancer replaced, had to repair a brake line that developed a small leak. Had the brakes done, new tires, changed the coolant, dif fluid
and of course oil changes. The car is 16 years old and performs better than any car I have owned. They do have electrical issues but I haven't had any yet, knock on wood. Any time you buy a car that is 16
years old it will have issues. Good luck.

I'm in the same boat , i have been looking for a few months .. Best i can come up with is a 2013 A6 1lt with 72k miles on the car for 27500 ..Out the door just short of 30k after TTL and dealer fees . Clean car Fax .The car needs head light covers but the paint is very nice , the insides are super clean and needs nothing ..I have not checked the Harmonic Balancer yet but i will before buying . Car drives great , some wind nose at 75 MPH and a few rattles at low speeds on bad streets coming from the Targa top .. Two things i asked them to check before i would sign anything was a squeaking coming from the brake peddle when pressing it and very hard steering stopped or a very slow speeds , once moving it feels fine . I don't know much about the c6 cars , i know old vettes very well because i worked for GM back in the 70s and 80s .. Any info or help would be great ..
