Hi everyone I’m looking into purchasing a 2007 ls2 corvette , I heard they’re pushing 400hp and somewhere around 340 wheel what do I need to make around 630-650 wheel horsepower or 550 wheel horsepower? Someone recommended me to an a&a supercharger but where will that put me hp wise?

Almost all C6's have a problem with the harmonic balancer. They were defective from the factory and tend to separate between the inner and outer halves. The balancers are pressed onto the crankshaft. If you end up going through with this and add a super charger you absolutely must change the balancer AND pin the new balancer to the crank as the super charger puts more drag on the balancer and it can begin to slip. There is a "pin" kit that's only around $75 and a new balancer, ARP bolt and new front seal will run you $300 plus labor. Even if you don't go with the super charger take a look at your balancer to check for wobble. Any wobble at all and it should be replaced. Eventually it will throw belts. Lots of good info on this site about balancer issues and sources for new ones. Can be done DIY if you're reasonably capable.

Most LS2’s I’ve seen( mine included) with a ‘smaller’ vortech with the 4” pulley and stock heads and cam yield about 500-525 to the wheels. I’m certainly not an authority on the subject and there are outliers of course. You can pulley down and make considerably more with octane boosters or meth. Adding heads, cam can get one over 600wheel.
