Default Eckler's ???

is Ecklers still in business? i placed an on-line order saturday and when i try to check on its status, initially, i was getting a prompt saying that no orders are on file.
checking later, i can't get past the order number / e-mail screening ( saying that it is incorrect ).
i was on hold for over a half an hour. i tried several didn't phone #'s & e-mail addresses. i have yet to get an e-mail reply or talk to anyone on the phone.
any option i try on the phone, has been met with the same ( 'we are experiencing a heavy volume of phone calls" ).
i tried to cancel my order but, getting the reply ( call volume ).
next call is to mastercard!

Not sure if they're still in business but the last 4 google reviews for them are 1 star. The average over the last two months is under 2.

I would think that a large company like that would still be in business. They are probably suffering phone/computer/network issues today.

I'm trying to get some parts in by the weekend. I'll give them one more try, if i can't through, I'll contact mastercard and cancel it with them.

According to your first post, the issues described are the new normal. Many complaints of the same thing. Best of luck.

it was relatively easy to order ( imagine that ). now, when trying to contact them, it's like pulling teeth.

I get their catalogs in the mail all the time. The one time I ordered something they called me back in less then 24 hours and said they only have 1 of the 2 items and do I want them to back order it or refund the 1 item. I asked for refund and received a Pay Pal refund in three days. That was last year

so far today, i've sent e-mails to 2 different locations ( both provided on the ecklers website ) and 2 different phone numbers ( also from their site ) but, i've been on hold a total of almost an hour.
there's no way they are that busy.

here's the number i've been trying: 877-815-5799.
initially, when i tried this number, i've been entering option 2 ( customer service ) as, option says that if you are checking on an order, to hang up and call back, pressing option 2.
i'm currently on the line with them again, this time using option 1. i've been on hold for 5 minutes now.

well, i was finally able to break through. got a call back from option #1 but, when i mentioned that i was checking on an order, they had to transfer me to the option #2 ( customer service ).
on hold for about 5 minutes, only to find that while they indeed have my order in the system, the lead for one part was december. the other part was for april.
order cancelled. the search continues.

maybe it's their commercials but, anytime i place an order with Rock Auto, i get this feeling that it's the current version of J C Whitney.
but every time i need something, they also seem to have it on hand ( or at least relatively quickly ). decent pricing too.
was able to order both rear ride height sensors today. currently their site is saying they'll both shipping out tomorrow.

I ordered a few things back in the spring, and yeah their in business OK, ( LIKE the holders of the famous Corvette-Tax bread and born) but if I can get something from a number of Corvette vendors like Vette lights or Corvette-guys or WCC then i go that way. I haven't received anything from them that was "Made In China" and I'm telling ya, if don't knock off the whole China thing we're going to be up to our A^%$ in pure junk that won't last a weekend if it fits at all. And i hate getting my head knocked off buying something from any of the vendors who have burnt me in the past Corvettemods/mondergenauto. . . Same company, and Ecklers has been in business a long time and have removed plenty of my money from my CC accounts over the last 25 years. I'm just tired of getting taken time after time simply because they have something I Want. So yeah, the covid thing is still causing problems all over !

well, as i noted above, my $$$ go to rock auto. as long as it's just stock replacement items, i've never been disappointed. parts are usually in stock, shipping is at most, the next day. they usually offer the exact replacement, along with cheaper and more expensive versions too.

Well your 100% correct there, And if you buy a GM part, you get a GM part. Great if you want to stay OEM and the prices are really great ! Just got to pay attention to the 'Info' button and read the information breakdown.

Summit is good, I got my AC Delco 47AGM battery from them in May and it fit like a glove. Not cheap, but you get what you ordered every time !
