Hello My 07 C6 needs a new set of tires I have The Goodyear Run Flats Has Anybody Tried The Michelin Sport All Season 4 Run Flats Or Any information Would Be Appreciated thanks
The Michelin Pilot Sport 4S are great summer season performance tires, but they are not run flats. The Michelin AS 4 are excellent run-flat all-season tires that will not limit you to summer only (above 40 degrees) use. Only problem is that it is becoming more difficult to locate tires with the retail supply-chain problems hitting the market place recently.
I just changed out the rear tires on my GS (fronts were already done by previous owner a couple months ago), replaced Michelin Pilot Super Sports that were at 5/32" with All Season 4 run flats. Huge difference in ride quality.
I just had Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3 tires installed to replace the original Goodyear run flats. Only have have a few hundred miles on them so far, but they are they are definitely better than the run flats. I didn't want All seasons since I never drive car in bad weather.
This past spring I changed from the stock Goodyear run flat to the Michelin Sport AS3+ plus ZP - which are run flats. A big improvement!
I put these all season tires on my 12 GS last May and am very pleased with them. My last set was Michelin Pilot Super Sports summer tires which handle very well, but when the the temp dips below 40 degrees I had to park the car--No bueno! The major problem you are going to have is finding them. I just looked on Tire Rack and they do not currently show that tire in stock.

A lot depends on how your gonna drive the car. I drive one thousand miles a year so there is no need on wasting $$ on Michelin coz they will rot b4 i wear them out . I went with non run flats General GMax, so far its been a great tire.

From what I understand it's been replaced by the a/s 4.

I have the same on my 09 and so far with 6k miles on them and they are fantastic to say the least. Never ever liked General tires until these!

Good catch - my bad, but availability still applies for the front tires as they are "special order - will ship when available" on Tire Rack. Looks like the supply chain issues will be around for a while.

I also have these General Gmax RS Ultra High Performance Summer tires on my 2006 Convertible for nearly 5,000 miles and really like them. They have great dry and great wet traction, improved road feel and the steering response is much better than the run flats. These are great performance tires for the money.
A lot of people will tell you to just ditch the runflats altogether (for several reasons including cost, ride quality, etc) but if you are dead set on sticking with them, I highly recommend Michelin Pilot Super Sport ZPs (OEM on the C7).

The Michelins will be much much better.
Another option is to ditch the run-flats and build yourself a tire repair kit.
I purchased an aluminum low profile jack, a large lug nut socket and wrench, and put together a kit with vice grip pliers, needle nose pliers, and a tire plug kit.
Won't help with a massive blowout but neither will run-flats.
