Default Jack Stands

Hi, I'm new to the C-6 (I LOVE it) but have had Corvettes for almost 50 years - a mid-year being the newest I have owned before this. Does anyone know of a short (around 8 inches) jack stand that would work with Corvettes (of many years)? Most jack stands are around 12" high and require the car to be raised much higher than necessary to remove the tires. Thanks, Don

Welcome to the forum. Congrats on your purchase. Depending upon the weight capacity, a 2 ton can be as low as 10", and they go up in min height as the lift capacity increases.
It will depend upon what lift capacity you are comfortable with.
I have the 3 ton stands, and they are just under 12" min height, but that is just high enough to remove the tires, and not too far off the ground. That is without using the lifting pucks. You can add another inch if you use those.

Jack Point Jack Stands are what I use. American made too. Great access for the front and back of the car, which is where almost everything I work on is located.
