Back when I had my 2006 Z06, I remember doing something where I tapped into a circuit, it was something I did in the back of the car and then ran the wire up to the center console, and I was able to use my phone to play bluetooth audio. I don't remember anything else other than that, but now I am back in a C6, a 2010 ZR1, and I want to be able to play bluetooth audio. Does anyone know what I am referring to, or if not, is there another solution to play music from my phone?
There are a number of different options to achieve this, I believe the one you're referring to plugs into the stock XM tuner which you can find here http://www.kawal.net/bluetooth.htm I suggest however that you consider replacing the head unit with a good aftermarket system, not only will it sound much better but you'll have greater functionality and a much more up to date system.

Yeah that is what I used in my 2006. The problem with that though is I have an I phone 10 and it doesn't have the aux input, it just has the charging input.

I bought the cable from Ray to use the XM as input but bought a Bluetooth module and wired it in. Works great for me you just have to control the music on your phone.
with both the aux and a 12V adaptor. The drawback is you'll have to manually unplug whenever exiting (or else it'll keep pulling a little power and you're phone will stay connected if you're within range). On the 11 and up, it works great because you can power off the USB port which is powered off the head unit.

Note: The rare PAL GM adaptor, advertised here came out of my 2010 Corvette 3LT Grandsport with NAV. So, that year/version (and other C6 years) didn't have a Factory AUX input !!! so this PAL Adaptor installed by dealers was/is the best way to provide AUX (miniPhono) as well as IPOD cable input into the Factory NAV stereo!
This updated/Software PAL package also includes the Bluetooth adaptor on the IPOD cable (pictured), so this package basically provides 3 ways of connecting your phone/device to the factory radio! If you don't want the Bluetooth adaptor dongle, I will sell for $15 less. This was all tested and used for about 2 years before I sold my 2010 GS. It's the best way to connect your own audio devices to this Factory NAV since it was designed without native AUX input! Get it now. These are RARE. GM PAL production has ended!
