Corvette Mods?
No thanks
It's said, forewarned's forearmed.
Have a look at Apsis' guards.
Pricey, yea.
Then again get what you pay for, too.
Have had a set on my '08 Z06 for over 10 years.
Learned the hard way too late w/ my '06.
Paint totally abraded from rockers/door edges down to white SMC.
Even w/ Apsis severe road rash around rear brake ducts.
Hate to think what'd it have looked like w/o Apsis.
Following repaint of damage last Fall, had Xpel applied.
Between Xpel *&* Apsis, damage should be greatly reduced.
This splash guard kit works fine and is barely noticeable. The fronts come pre-drilled and use the OEM fasteners. The rears clip on but I wouldn't use their clips. Installation is simple. I have them on for over 22,000 miles and still look new.

Did you use different clips? I think I might use 3M double sided tape...

On the rear guards I used small black metal paper binder clips in place of the clips that come with the rears. They have been holding strong for over 2 years and over 22,000 miles no issues. Can easily replace with fresh ones any time.
They are extremely similar or perhaps the same as the OEM splash guards at less than half the price. I highly recommend them as they are CUSTOM FIT for C6 base models and are NOT a universal splash guard.
One installation hint - I put them on the floor in front of a small electric heater to soften them up a bit for about 10 - 15 minutes, then form them to the fender wells perfectly during installation. They do require drilling a couple holes but it's an easy process any handy person can handle.
After 3 years and 20k miles still looking and performing great.... and providing protection for the lower areas behind the tires !!!

I ordered a set from a gm site and got an email from them this morning and they canceled the order because they are discontinued, but the site listed them. I think I'm going to pass on getting these, plus not crazy about drilling new hole in the liner.
