C7 or C6
Or you could just re-read the thread that you had from last year. Not much has changed in the C6 or C7 since 2021.

Good luck with your decision...

Ultimately you have to decide for yourself, but a few things to think about:
Is this a daily driver of just a fun weekend cruiser? From your signature, I'm assuming weekend cruiser. If so both C6 and C7 are going to function very well for you, but there's not nearly as big a difference for that use case. Also, I'd rethink getting locked in on only considering a C7 Grand Sport. If you're not tracking it, there's really not a lot of benefit other than widebody look and bragging rights. For me, I ended up with the Stingray because I like the looks better (especially with the Z06 grill & side vents like mine had, the plastic fender extensions on the widebody C7s just look odd to me). The Stingray is a very capable platform (especially with Z51) and doesn't have nearly as many issues with wheels cracking as the C7 GS/Z06 (which is a major issue on the widebody C7s). I would definitely advise that if you are doing a C7, you want at least 2LT, and I'd definitely spring for mag ride, NPP and Z51.

Another factor to consider is the interior size, if your a taller/bigger guy the C7 is a little bit of a tighter fit than the C6.
Just my 2 cents.
The C7 on the other hand does have some advantages and also some disadvantages. It does have newer styling but I'm not a big fan. It does have a nicer interior for sure but I have found it to be a bit more cramped.
One thing for sure to be aware of on C7 GS's and Z06's is the high incidence of bent, broken, and cracked wheels. It really is a major failure on GM's part in this regard and they should have issued a recall for the wheels.
C7's with the A8 auto have had some problems and so have Camaro's with the A8. But this has been largely resolved by a transmission flush and switch to a different spec of trans fluid. Some people have had to have the torque converter replaced but this and the trans flush is 100% covered by GM if your car has that problem. (I have a 2017 Camaro SS with the A8 and a TCM software update as well as fluid flush has solved all the problems with the trans.). Now the A8 (and A10) transmission in the C7 and 6th gen Camaro are freaking amazing. Probably one of the fasted shifting torque converted transmissions there is out there.
Another C7 positive is its engine, the LT1. It is a 6.2L 5th gen engine. It is pretty much better in every way compared to the LS3. It really is that good. It is direct injected but unlike most DI cars, GM did a fantastic job with the PCV system so you really don't ever need to worry about buildup on the back of the intake valves. And the LT1 responds to simple mods even better than the LS3. Because of the higher compression ration and DI of the LT1, a simple Flex Fuel sensor kit, e85, and tune will add 30+ hp easy. Adding long tube headers to the LT1 is basically like adding a cam to the LS3; the HP/TQ gains especially above 5K rpms is extremely impressive.
the DOD system removed (been told you can't simply tune it out) and stick with a manual or a 14 which retails the C6s A6 since the early A8s had issues, I think the A8 problems were resolved
in 17 or 18. I love the exterior styling but don't care for the interior. I also heard there was an issue with the MyLink (radio) in the 14 as well?
