man... this is such an open ended question... lets start with this... what are your goals? how do you drive the car? stick/auto? do you daily drive or weekend drive? what other mods do you have? Do you want something radical or mild? There are so many options and it all depends on what your goals/existing mods are.
There are a lot of options out there. I went with a BTR stage 2 because it was the sweet spot for me between drivability and maintenance. I wasn't too concerned with power - I just wanted something that sounds good and drives good. Mission accomplished.

Sorry about that guy's ,I wanted like 30-35 more rwhp
2011 GS , A6 all sock . not using headers on this one ..
Look like you want something stage I or so. With that estimated horsepower and stock A6, I'd be interested to know if a particular stage II might work..

I'm afraid even the I cams have some lope, however minor. But if I were in the same boat as you I wouldn't mind some lope as long as the drivability remains, which the I cams, are designed.
There was a clip of a Stage I cam around here somewhere...
honestly if your just trying to achieve 30 rwhp and you want no lope and you dont want to do headers i feel like youd be better off to just do a few bolt ons and call it a day. The amount of labor involved for a Cam swap will barely justify the gain you'll get with that small of a cam. Rod mod intake and a throttle body would probably get you close with a tune
Skip the underdrive pulley. Add Kooks headers and cats and a Cam Motion LS3 Stage 3 Camshaft (220/230-117+4) plus supporting parts (valve springs, pushrods, cam plate, etc.) and get a good dyno tune.
The headers will complement the cam allowing it to breath. This cam will work fine with your stock torque converter and still have good drivability. Will be a significant jump in power versus stock, likely 40 to 50 rwhp.
Hahaha, thanks for the scolding. Der!
Ever read the threads on here and see how far of the OP they get?
At least I was referring to what he posted in the pic.
