At least it's not another oil or tire question! Haha
So my 08' battery I changed in....2016, seems like yesterday so that makes it 6 years old. Always is on the top of the line Ctek maintainer. Right after it goes back in garage, hood popped, battery plugged in. The battery seems like new, never an issue but my question for you experts is .. I'm not expecting the battery to last forever just because it's always charged and we know how finicky the Vette is on batteries but I'm considering replacing it just because it's ..well 6 years old! If I didn't check my records I would think it's a Bran new battery the way it's performing.

If I were in your shoes, I would just keep driving. Yes, you do take some risk. Sometimes you will get a warning that the battery is starting to go, but other times it just goes and could be quite inconvenient. It might help if you carry one of those small battery jump starters along with you. That way, if the battery fails in a way that it won't start the car, but the car will keep running if jumped, you then have a way of getting home in that circumstance anyway.
I don't mind risking getting stranded with my vehicle so I would keep driving it until I (hopefully) noticed signs it was ready to go. I would never hear the end of it if the wife got stranded somewhere, so her batteries get replaced somewhat preemptorily.
I wouldn't replace it just because it's 6 years old. How often do you drive your car? If I was going on a long trip I might consider it just in case. But if I was just driving around town close to home I wouldn't spend the money.
Some things are a cheap easy fix. I drive a Corvette, so first off money is not a big issue, if it were I would drive a Honda Civic or something similar. I can usually get a New battery for under $200 most of the time. I buy a battery that has a 3 year free replacement warranty. So the question that I ask myself is........ How much is me getting stuck 1 time worth dollar wise. I just replaced my 3 year old battery and told the guy at Advance the battery will still start my car. I do not like being stranded. How bout you?

I don't know about where you live but I live in an area where there are several areas that have no cell receiption due to military testing areas, so I carry a small norco jump starter in my trunk of all my vehicles, the first time a battery leaves me somewhere or the car is slow to crank it is replaced. Last thing I need is a battery that ends up with a bad cell and for whatever reason will not start the car even with the jump box.
I agree that it is a good idea to carry one of the small lithium battery emergency jump starters. I would also add that you should stop by a local auto parts retailer and have them perform a load test on the current battery. This would at least give you some insight as the the health of the battery and help make your decision on a preemptive replacement.

I would replace it. My experience is that batteries just give out without any warning. Corvettes also behave strange when the battery is bad. Sure you could try to boost or charge it. It's a Corvette not a Spark or Mirage. Treat it to a new battery.
I just replaced my original, 10 year old battery. Until a month ago it was fine, then I noticed it cranking a little slower. Got a NAPA battery for $125 with AAA 10% discount. Took 10 minutes to swap.
Thanks guys for all the comments, and I'm with the majority here, I don't drive it as often as I should, have many other cars and the Vette is a garage queen but I get it out as often as possible, never gets left un attended. I didn't think the battery was as old as it is! My wife's car gets changed first sign of going down hill but few months ago it just died without any warning so I think I'll take 6 years as good enough and swap it out before it bites the dust. I've got a really good Milton load tester and when I pull it I'm going to load test it, just to see! But it could load test great today and be dead as a door nail tomorrow!
It does prove that keeping them on a quality maintainer really keeps the battery in top condition.
I bet it would last another year or two but I'm not a gambler so I'll change it out! I've got a set up that I use with a spare boat battery I keep on a charger, with a couple of small clips to keep power on the car so nothing loses memory when I disconnect the Vettes battery., Radio, window index etc...
