Hello fellow Vette owners! Question.. How much torque is required on front lug nuts 2011 GS..??
I know it's probably in. Manual somewhere, but some of you guys are quicker than GOOGLE!!!
For those interested in getting their wheels torqued by a shop, Discount Tire will do this each time they take your wheels off.
I don't trust shops. I loosen all wheel nuts then retighten using criss cross method and torque to spec. Check all tire pressures also. Then re/check/torque after 100 mi. or so. Most shops do not do torque or tire pressure to spec.

Most shops, absolutely, DT, not so much. They are trained for this, it's part of their rotation. I've watched them like a hawk, do it on my car.
Go get a good torque wrench and always check them yourself. I don't trust any tire shop because I don't know if the torque wrench is properly calibrated or is the tech knows how to set it or use it. Only trust yourself.

You can't really check to see if the torque is correct, only if the torque is correct or higher.
The only way to do it is to loosen the lug nuts and tighten them with a torque wrench.
