Buckle Passenger
"Buckle Passenger" message displays on DIC even though the passenger is buckled in properly. It has come about the last few days for the first time. Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

If you move the seat all the way forward you will see a connector harness. That has been a concern for many owners. Check the connection if need be use dielectric grease on the connector terminals. Let us know the outcome.

Mine was doing this also..... Finally found a way to trick the system so the message would not pop up. Buckle harness under the driver seat will take care of the code (even if it is with the passenger side).... I forget the routine you have to do, but you basically make a jumper and bypass the sensor. No more light......

Thanks to all for the information and help suggestions. I looked under the passenger seat and there are no loose wires. All are bundled. In the female receiver of the seat belt latch it appears that there are two electrical contacts which are connected when the male seat belt latch is clicked into it. I did spray them but still the same error message comes out periodically on the DIC. Hopefully it will self correct.
