I'm looking at a 2013 GS 27K miles very clean car Metallic Red cashmere interior LS-3 all stock car he's asking $42,500. I'm thinking it's on the high side but I would like CF folks to give me their opinions?

Thanks

That price is actually pretty decent for a GS.

Seems about right if it's everything you are looking for colors and options-wise. The newest C6 and low miles, hard to beat. Might be a tad high but not by much.

One owner?
Serviced regularly and properly? Records available?
Tires replaced or original 10-yr old tires?
VIS dealer service/recall history ok?
Any stored/pending OBD, SRS, ABS codes in computer?
Carfax?

Id say that's a fair, borderline low price for it. It's an undesirable color combo, hence being a bit lower than others. Would be a great car if you don't mind the colors.

Fair price for a hard to find color. Condition is everything.

I beg to differ on the undesirable color combo.I have that crystal red metallic/cashmere and EVERYONE that has seen the car just loves the combo. And that is at Corvette shows with vette owners that have other combos.

I've never heard that described as an undesirable color, though a black interior would probably look better. Regardless, the trim level would really make the diff in the price. If it's a 3LT, it's a very decent buy. If it's a 1LT, less desirable to many people. But, it might not matter to you.

Either way, come in $3G under to check the owner's urgency. If you have to pay asking price, and you like it, you can do that.

With the present higher prices, nobody is buying today to resell. If you personally like the color combo that’s all that matters

I CAN'T SEE THE GS you're talking about!!! Pics would help. Regardless, offer $39K if you really want this car and start the negotiations.

FWIW, one year ago I paid $40k for my two-owner ‘12 GS, 3LT, auto, with 16k miles. Crystal Red Metallic with embroidered two-tone seats. Dual roofs, extra floor mats and cover included. He was asking $48k and I got him down to $40, which I was very comfortable with. Good luck.
