I have found replica ZO6 wheels locally that I would accept and would actually save the insurance company a lot of money. If they wheels they have ordered don't show up this week as promised then we will have another discussion. Thanks for the help on Craigslist. I've always been scared of Craigslist. From what I have heard, they can be a little sketchy and sometimes dangerous.
I would only buy something local so I could meet the seller in person at a public place. I wouldn't go to their house or have them come to my house. I was mainly showing you what the price ranges were. I would never send someone the money and then wait for them to send me the wheels or whatever I was buying. I buy stuff of ebay all the time, but they have a system in place to avoid OR mostly avoid scams.
Best of luck and can't wait to see what you end up with.

Oh, I agree. This is actually a store front (have driven by) that I found through eBay. That being said, eBay isn't what it used to be as far as security of your transaction when they completely integrated with Paypal.
So my car is finally back on the road. A week ago Thursday, they sent a van to install the new wheels and tires (original OEM wheels) but then I still had a traction control issue. I thought the traction control issue was because of the flat tires and never really gave it a second thought but after the tires/wheels were replaced I still had the issue but I also had a misfire that I did not have before. Didn't have time to really look at it any deeper on Thursday or Friday but on Saturday I started poking around and pulled the engine covers off and one of the plug wires had actually come off one of the coils. Well, duh. I also started looking at the rest of the wires and found another wire that had been pulled out of the boot at some time so I decided I was going to get new plug wires and plugs. Thing runs like champ now but then on Tuesday morning I stopped and got gas and the thing wouldn't start. Everything was dead. Nothing, Nada. Luckily, I had decided to keep my booster pack in the car because I did have to charge the battery because it had sit for three weeks and was down to six volts when I charged it. Must have finished it off because it was from 2015 according to the date stamp on the battery. Changing the battery at the dealership I work at and the battery cables looked suspect so I ordered new cables, which are on back order from GM but I found one a Rock Auto which was delivered the next day and everything is great now. About $4400 later and everything is back to normal. The good news is I was able to get in touch with the development company that is building the apartment complex that was the cause of the construction zone to begin with and they have agreed to reimburse my insurance company for the damages which means I should get my deductible back as well. I know for a fact at least 15 cars have been damaged by that curb that was cut off. I wonder how many have actually been able to find out who the development company is?
