So tonight I was going through a construction zone right by my house and hit the end of an exposed, unmarked curb. Needless to say, both right side tires blew and both wheels are trashed. On the build sheet they are identified as QX3 wheels. Are these still available? I don't know it that is the only identifying information that I need or if there is some other part number I should be looking for? I will try to get some good pictures in the morning.
Sorry to hear about your run in with a curb. Those wheels are still available, probly check flea bay. Or another option might be a sign to upgrade….good luck with your decision.

I'm sure the wheels are available.... word of advice, in the future you might want to put the year and model of your car in your original post. I looked this up in your other threads to see that you have a 2011 C6. I assume its a narrow body and not a wide body. Also you could post a picture of your wheels so we don't have to guess. I am not sure what the QX3 wheels are. Most people would say Z06, GS, ZR1, Gumby, etc. which are some of the common names people refer to the wheels.

Here is a photo from the 2011 brochure. What wheel is yours?

QX3 is the factory code for that particular wheel. The problem is that the codes get reused when one design gets replaced by another. There are a couple ways to find and define the wheels on your car. Go to www.corvetteactioncenter.com and look under specs and then the model year. Somewhere you'll see what options were available and the build codes. There are pictures of wheels by the codes and IIRC it includes a name for the wheel style. The early C6 QX3 wheel ('05-'09) was called the Classic 5-spoke. I don't remember the name of the later one, or when it started/ended.
The other choice is to go to a Chevy dealer's website for parts (I use gmpartsoutlet.net) and follow the choices until you get to the parts you want. Most used wheels aren't found by part numbers, but it's better to have one vs not. Don't forget that fronts are 18" and rears are 19", when you're looking.
Sorry you had that problem. I'd be checking with the construction company about damage restitution.

Actually, I tried to post pictures but the pictures I took of the damage really didn't show the type of wheels they are. The closest wheel of the pictures above is the far left but mine are chrome. I already checked eBay and didn't see any at all like mine. I did stumble across some wheel and tire combos on there that was from a local seller that would be bolt on with sensors and everything ready to go that is about 10-15 miles away. Hopefully, I can get in touch with the guy today to take a look at them. They are brand new so shouldn't have to worry about anything like prior damage, etc. I'm working for a Cadillac dealership now just for something to do so I will see what the guys in parts can come up with, also. Thanks for the info. As a side note, my wife and I drove through the area about 45 minutes after all this happened and it looks like there had been one of those orange plastic barrels marking the end of the curb and someone had obviously hit and was smashed and lying about 30 feet away. I was the third of four cars that was stopped with the exact same damage. It was dusk and very hard to see when it happened. I will probably see what my insurance has to say. Ironically, I just had a phone call this afternoon with my agent who wanted to go over my coverages as Florida is having a state wide increase next month I suppose because of the hurricane. I haven't had a claim in over 20 years so this should be interesting.
These are your design probably...... 2500 dollar option in 2011.
Yes. Those are the wheels on my car. The parts manager at the Cadillac dealership that I am working at was able to find the part numbers and surprisingly the wheels are still available and in stock in Flint, Michigan. Now the part that I'm sure the insurance company the crap the bed at. The front is $1398 and the rear is $1402.

So I've had wheels stolen off my car before and in another insurance case damaged wheels and tires. In both cases at least what my insurance said was sine the wheels are "used" they'll look at the secondary market and find what the price is and they'll give you that amount, not the $1398 and $1402 retail price from GM. Since they can't give you used tires, they would give you the price of new tires.
Again, this is what happened to me, and in your case it could be different.

That's what I expect. Supposedly, a wheel company is going to call me tomorrow. As long as the wheels aren't damaged, I'm OK with that. I was actually surprised that they were even available from GM but the price really through me for a loop. The tires were new in August and have maybe 2k miles on them.

That sounds about right. Insurance companies will do and find any way possible to get out of paying more, if a cheaper option is available. Good luck finding a great condition OEM exact replacement wheels. The org rims on mine were not OEM.
Just a quick update. The company working with my insurance company was not able to find used wheels for my car. They have been surprising easy to work with.. I thought I was going to have issues because of the age of the car.....the typical BS. They did end up ordering new wheels and were supposed to be here last Tuesday or Wednesday but did not show up (I thought that was a little quick considering the parts guy at our dealership said 7-10 days). They are now due on the 14th with is Tuesday of this week. If they don't show up then I will talk to them about different wheels. It's coming up on three weeks on Wednesday and all they are doing is running up rental car charges.
I have found replica ZO6 wheels locally that I would accept and would actually save the insurance company a lot of money. If they wheels they have ordered don't show up this week as promised then we will have another discussion. Thanks for the help on Craigslist. I've always been scared of Craigslist. From what I have heard, they can be a little sketchy and sometimes dangerous.
