Default Finally brought my new (to me) home

I posted that I bought a C6 Saturday from a Dealer in Boston. Finally drove it home to NH tonight. It's been a few years since I owned a Corvette. Forgot how awesome they are. It's an hour ride. Took me 2.5 hours. No problems. I just kept driving and driving and driving. I noticed during the test drive it was very loud so I figured the previous owner pulled the exhaust fuse. A little too much for me all the time. So, I brought a fuse with me and some fun. This was a Lexus Dealer. They looked at me strange when I crawled onto the floor of the passenger side and started pulling up the carpet. But they really looked at me strange when I started it up and the exhaust louvers closed, and the showroom stopped rumbling...LOL. Also got a lot

of looks on the way home driving a bright yellow Corvette (shinny clean and bright) in February) in New England. But into the Garage it goes. See you all in the Spring...won't be long.

Thanks and let's hope for a much better Red Sox Season. Not very excited about what they did this off-season. But let's not talk about that...LOL

Run a fuse tap and a button switch ((think old school dimmer) and for < $10 you have pushbutton exhaust control.

Make your own wireless Mild to Wild switch for $20. I did it...took 20 minutes total. No reason to pay $75 for the EXACT same thing you can get for $20.

That is a very nice looking car. Too bad you have to wait for the New England "Ice Age" to end before you can really start enjoying it!

Congratulations from a fellow New Englander (Maine) who wished to drive the Corvette year-round (almost) and moved to the lower cost of living state, Kentucky. And, of course, there is the added bonus of having the Museum and Assembly Plant a short ride down I-65. Enjoy the time with your Corvette until Spring. You will find a zillion things you wish to do to it while you wait out the NH Winter. Save the wave!
