It depends on the dealer, call the dealer your thinking of taking it and then compare with other places/dealers,
if you have that option where you're at. Good luck.
Best bet is to call the dealership and ask. If there’s more than one in your area, call them all. Give them your vin so there’s no misunderstandings and surprises (for you).
It’s already at the dealership and I’m wondering if it’s a fair price they are charging me.
You'll probably pay high, as dealer rates and prices for part are higher.
No offense, but why not post what they're charging you?
Then perhaps people that have had it done, can help you better.
I was thinking they were replacing the whole tank, tbh.
Could be. I could buy that just for sheer laziness.
Dude just got the car though. This is wild he is even paying for repairs. He had it like 2 weeks.
I think most places offer atleast a 1month/1k mile clause. ESP if it came from a dealer

Depends on the state and dealer. Around here unless it's a larger dealer that offers it with a warranty it could explode in the parking lot, if you signed the papers,.legally it's your problem. It's also horrifyingly bad press to have that happen, so most reputable dealers will work with people on it.

Do you really think any dealer is going to put a warranty on a used car where some third party has stuck a supercharger on it? It's already burned up the fuse block and fuel pump relay.
That is ridiculous! Should not be over 2K, even at a dealer.I can see a $1000 for labor..
I disgree...the OP didn't mention whether the car is an auto or a manual transmission ( the auto is more labor intensive) & to do both tanks is at least 10 labor hours...long gone are the days where a dealership charges $100. per hour labor

I mean, yea I do. Lol. I thought this package he had was a little more legit than just a shop throwing a blower on it. I thought it was a partner or something like Shelby/Roush for Ford.
The supercharger has nothing to do with dropping the tank though. I’d bet the fuel pumps are stock.
Additional info: car is a automatic - the SLP package was done by a licensed contractor for the dealership as a new car - fuel pump is original and stock (supercharger manufacture says stock fuel pump is acceptable) - dealership has figured 14 hours to replace the fuel pump and fuse block -
